Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's daughter has made a rare comment about her "much younger" half-siblings.

Taking to Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Monroe Cannon opened up about her blended family.

"Clearing something up guys," the 14-year-old began, adding, "I only have ONE brother who is @moroccan.cannon. I do have other half-siblings from my dad but they are all many many years younger than me!"

Mariah and Nick, who were married from 2008 until 2014, welcomed twins Monroe and Moroccan in 2011.

The Masked Singer host has since had 10 more children with multiple partners.

Nick, 45, shares son Golden, daughter Powerful Queen, and baby son Rise with Brittany Bell; twin boys Zion and Zillion as well as daughter Beautiful with Abby De La Rosa, a son named Legendary with Bre Tiesi, a daughter called Onyx with LaNisha Cole, and a little girl named Halo with Alyssa Scott.

Sadly, Nick and Alyssa's son Zen died at the age of five months in December 2021 following a battle with cancer.

Representatives for the Believe hitmaker and TV presenter have not yet expanded on Monroe's comments.

But in August, Nick admitted on his podcast, Nick Cannon @ Night, that he doesn't like the term "co-parent" when referring to his relationship with the mothers of his children.

"When you start throwing labels on things, I think it does more harm than help and can get very dangerous, because then everybody else has a preconceived notion of what you're doing," he explained. "I haven't figured it out yet. I haven't gotten it all the way right. But also, to your point, if I just step into every situation with respect and compassion, and individuality. That's the other thing I always do with anyone I'm involved with in my life."
