The county is preparing for heavy rain and flooding as Storm Claudia arrives. The Met Office issued an amber weather warning on Thursday (November 13).
The Met Office said people should prepare for flooding, power cuts and a potential danger to life. Weather forecasters have also added that there is a chance some communities will be cut off by flooded roads.
Heavy rain has fallen throughout the previous night and is still continuing this morning. The amber warning will not come into effect until midday today (November 14) and will remain in place until midnight.
The storm, which was previously named Storm Claudia by the Spanish Meteorological Service, is expected to bring 40-60mm of rain across the entire region.
