The Queens Park Soccer & Social Club has been given a five-year lease at its current home ground as it seeks to regain its National Premier Leagues status one day.
The club is one of the older soccer clubs in WA but has been without a permanent lease on Coker Park in Cannington since 2022.
City of Canning councillors unanimously approved a five-year lease for the club when they met on October 28.
The club was established early last century, and a clubroom was built at the park in 1981 to support its growth.
High points on the field came between 2017 and 2019, when Queens Park twice finished atop the Women’s Premier League ladder, and were crowned champions once.
