New Delhi: RJD leader and Mahagathbandhan’s chief ministerial face Tejashwi Yadav is locked in a neck-and-neck battle in his family bastion of Raghopur with the BJP’s Satish Kumar.

After nine rounds of counting around 01.30 pm, Tejashwi was trailing Kumar by 2,208 votes. Kumar gathered 35,635 votes, while Tejashwi was at 33,347, according to the ECI’s official update. There are 21 more rounds of counting to go.

Meanwhile, Jan Suraaj candidate Chanchal Kumar has garnered 1,160 votes, according to the ECI’s official update. Show Full Article
