Jasprit Bumrah is leading India’s fast bowling attack in the ongoing first Test against South Africa at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. In the morning session of Day 1’s play, the 31-year-old pacer from Ahmedabad bowled seven overs and picked up two wickets for nine runs. On the sixth ball of his seventh over, he also trapped South Africa captain Temba Bavuma in front of the wickets but was declared not out by the on-field umpire.

After his appeal was rejected by the umpire, Bumrah discussed taking DRS with his teammates, and during a chat with wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, he referred South African captain as ‘bauna’ (dwarf).
