Jujhar Singh ‘Tiger’ from Chamkaur Sahib in Ropar district, who recently became the first Indian to win an international Power Slap championship, says that "he aims to win the title belt in this sport". He also plans to open academies to train boys and girls in self-defence.

Jujhar visited the residence of SAD leader Jagjit Singh Honey Fattanwala here on Thursday evening. While interacting with scribes, he said that he was currently gaining weight to reach 120 kg in order to realise his dream of winning the Power Slap title belt.

“My father also did wrestling and played kabaddi. My younger brother is also practising Power Slap and is set to compete in February. There are only four or five players, including a girl Manjot from Punjab and some from Haryana who are into this sport,” said Ju
