Doctors have issued an urgent antibiotic warning amid fears they are becoming less effective at fighting serious illnesses.

Data published by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) showed a rise in antibiotic-resistant infections in the West Midlands last year.

It continues a "concerning" national trend over recent years of rising antibiotic-resistant infections.
