There's much we can learn from the 1960s, says a new play by a North Jersey writer

That was then, this is now. Or so people always say.

But in his new musical play about the 1960s, "Where the Time Goes," presented by the Players Guild of Leonia Nov 14 to 23 , Bergenfield writer, director and producer Michael Bias argues that then might be more like now than we imagine.

"What's truly scary is that we're in the same place, or a worse place, than we were in the '60s," Bias said. "And it was pretty (expletive) bad then."
