One of India’s longest-serving Chief Ministers, Chandrababu Naidu, has called for nationwide reforms to achieve product perfection. Speaking exclusively to CNBC-TV18, Naidu said that GST reforms have led to higher savings for citizens, but it is now time to promote Indian brands globally.

“Product perfection is the need of the hour. We need to brainstorm on how to achieve that, as this will be important for India to become a developed nation by 2047,” he said. The Chief Minister added that, according to him, India was unstoppable and would no doubt be the number one economy by 2047.

Naidu spoke to CNBC-TV18 ahead of the CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam. The state government is set to sign 410 MoUs worth ₹9.8 lakh crore with various companies.
