Imagine enjoying a peaceful walk through a park, when something catches your eye. You spot what looks like a hurt animal, and its cries for help pull you toward it. But you’re unsure how to handle the situation alone.

As you get closer, the reality becomes clear. It isn’t a large animal but a fragile gosling, struggling and in desperate need of care. Recognizing the urgency, you decide to call someone who can provide the right help.

That’s exactly what a passerby did when they found the young bird. They contacted New York wildlife rescuer, Karenlynn Stracher, without delay.

Arriving At The Scene

As soon as Stracher received the call, she gathered her supplies and headed straight to the park. Upon arriving, she saw the young gosling wandering around, clearly lost and looking for comfort
