A woman has issued a stark warning to others, urging them to "not follow in her footsteps" after she accumulated debt worth £3,000 through Buy Now Pay Later schemes.

Abi, a 37 year old from Sheffield , has spent the last few years of her life dedicated to community service. Despite battling multiple disabilities, she regularly delivers food parcels to South Yorkshire's homeless and attends barbering classes every Tuesday, with aspirations of teaching the skill to others someday.

However, she emphasised that no amount of "being a good person" can stop you from falling into bad habits, including the allure of Buy Now Pay Later schemes (BNPL) like Clearpay, Zilch, and Klarna.
