ATLANTA - The Mega Millions jackpot has grown to an estimated $965 million for tonight’s drawing after no ticket matched all six numbers in Tuesday’s drawing.

The jackpot, which has a cash option of $445.3 million, is the eighth largest in the game’s history. The drawing will be the 40th in this run, a game record, since the jackpot was last won in Virginia on June 27.

Friday’s drawing is scheduled for 11 p.m. Eastern Time and can be seen locally on 21 News at 11.

The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are about 1 in 290.5 million. The largest Mega Millions prize awarded to date was $1.602 billion in Florida in August 2023.
