TRAVERSE CITY — Grand Traverse County’s Health Department plans to host a public hearing during a future commissioners’ study session to repeal the county’s body art ordinance.
County Health Officer Mike Lahey told the board during a Wednesday study session the hearing is part of the procedure to repeal county Body Art Ordinance No. 3, which establishes regulations for facilities that provide services related to tattooing, body piercing and body modification.
