SRINAGAR : The Jammu and Kashmir Home Department has suspended DySP Sunil Singh, formerly posted as SDPO Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, pending an inquiry into unspecified allegations. The suspension order, issued on November 13 by the Principal Secretary to the Government, Home Department, invokes Rule 31(1) of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956. According to officials, the suspension takes immediate effect and is part of the procedural framework governing disciplinary action against officers in the Union Territory.
