A new study has revealed that some people find no issue with giving unwrapped presents at Christmas, with men being nearly twice as likely as women to do so

One in six adults see no problem with handing over Christmas presents – without wrapping them. A survey of 2,000 adults found that 20% of Gen Z and Millennials reckon it's absolutely acceptable to give an unwrapped gift, compared to just 8% of those aged between 61 and 79.

Men are also nearly twice as likely as women to present a gift without wrapping it (19% vs 10%). And they're far more prone than women to simply pass all their gift-wrapping duties to someone else (17% vs 7%). Commissioned by DFS, the research follows the launch of its Guaranteed Christmas Delivery service on a wide range of its products.
