After a season initiated with adversity, the Blue Eagles overcame the odds to win the section title once again.

Top-seeded Immaculate Heart won the North Jersey, Non-Public A Tournament final over second-seeded Holy Angels, 3-0, in Washington Township.

This is the second-consecutive title for Immaculate Heart.

“Historically, this program has gone far for many years,” Immaculate Heart head coach Michelle Yoo said. “There’s been a lot of success, and it honestly stems from the dedication from these girls. Academically, not just with their skills, but with their time management, they seem to really go above and beyond for each other.”

After a season where Immaculate Heart went all the way and won the group title over Notre Dame, this season began as an uphill battle.
