SRINAGAR : The Economic Offences Wing of Crime Branch Kashmir has filed a chargesheet in a land fraud case, accusing two men of cheating buyers of several lakhs of rupees in Kangan. The chargesheet was registered under Sections 420 and 120B of the IPC. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

According to officials, the accused—Abdul Hamid Dar of Ariguripora Shadi Gund and Abdul Qayoom Sheikh of Chak Akhal Guri Mohallah—allegedly posed as land brokers and sold four kanals and 16 marlas of land at Kachnambal near Baba Nagri Road for Rs 27 lakh. Investigators said the duo also collected an additional Rs 96,000 for a No Objection Certificate, Rs 52,000 for an Intikhab extract, and Rs 1 lakh for legal documentation.
