PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A large water main break is causing some issues Friday morning in Philadelphia's Rhawnhurst section.

The break was discovered on an 8-inch main on Algon Avenue, near Hoffnagle Street.

The roadway is buckled, shutting down Hoffnagel and Emerson streets.

Officials say emergency crews shut off a 12-inch water main to stop the flow to the leak, causing roughly 20 properties to be without water.

They say service will be restored as soon as possible.

Officials said crews are also inspecting the site to determine next steps.
