The early trends in Bihar’s 2025 assembly election underline a blunt political reality: the NDA is not just winning, it is outperforming the Opposition by a landslide on strike rate.

Taken together, the NDA is clocking an overall strike rate of nearly 85 percent, a number that explains the sweep unfolding across the state.

At the top is the BJP, posting a standout strike rate of about 90 percent. The party contested 101 seats and is leading in 91, putting it firmly ahead in the race to remain the single largest party.
