KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Zoo Knoxville launches its new music and light show Saturday night.
The zoo said 'Smoky Night Lights' is a "first-of-its-kind immersive 360 degree display of light music and nature." The show runs through March 2026. Tickets are $29.95 and reservations are required. Children under 2 are free.
The show was created by entertainment studio Moment Factory and animates the changing seasons of the Smoky Mountains, the zoo said. This is the studio's first-ever outdoor collective show.
The show is presented in a newly created natural amphitheater in the zoo's reimagined Timber Loop area . Vocalists from Knoxville and the surrounding region will bring music with Appalachian influences to celebrate the regional culture. The show will feature storytelling as well.
