Police investigating a serious assault are appealing for witnesses following an incident inside a Manchester city centre bar.

The incident is said to have happened inside Manahatta cocktail bar on Deansgate on Saturday, November 1 at around 1.25am.

Greater Manchester Police has asked any witnesses to come forward.

Last week, the Manchester Evening News reported on a violent incident at the New York style bar where glasses were thrown 'indiscriminately' and chairs 'used as weapons' during violent fight.
