A terrified mother and daughter were held hostage after two men smashed their way into their Midlands home.

The burglars raided the property in Prees, Shropshire, after mistaking the address for one they believed sold drugs.

Gary Milner and Ronan Hutchinson forced the women into a bedroom - however the daughter managed to call 999 as the men raced upstairs.

She dropped the phone but the call continued, meaning police were able to hear what was happening.

One of the intruders stayed with the women upstairs, while the other searched downstairs and demanded to know where the safe was.
