Nagpur: Meditrina Hospital on Central Bazaar Road has landed in serious legal trouble after Sitabuldi police registered a criminal case over large-scale unauthorized construction. The action has been taken against Dr. Sameer Paltewar, CMD of VRG Health Care Pvt. Ltd., which operates the hospital.

According to the complaint filed by NMC junior engineer Arun Pethewar, the hospital violated its approved building plan and carried out illegal structural changes. A spot inspection by the municipal zone office revealed that the ground-floor common area had been encroached upon by setting up an oxygen plant and storage space.
