Bells and kettles will soon be seen inside businesses and organizations across Thunder Bay this holiday season as the annual fundraiser is returning with a goal to raise more than $300,000 in support of vulnerable members of the community.

The Salvation Army started its 2025 Christmas Kettle Campaign on Thursday, announcing that this year's goal is to raise $310,000.

The money raised goes toward supporting the increasing demands on the Salvation Army programs through its Journey to Life Centre, which provides services year-round.
