The Trump administration has escalated its crackdown on people who oppose fascism by designating four European anti-fascist groups as Foreign Terrorist Organizations, reports The Guardian. The State Department announced Thursday it would label Germany's Antifa Ost, Italy's International Revolutionary Front, and two Greek organizations as "Specially Designated Global Terrorists," claiming they conspire to "undermine the foundations of Western Civilization through their brutal attacks."
