The New York Jets suffered a disappointing 27-14 loss to the New England Patriots . While many might be quick to point fingers at quarterback Justin Fields, running back Breece Hall sees things differently. He admitted that there was another issue that led to the team’s loss.
Speaking to the reporters, Hall explained that the receivers need to do a better job catching the ball and helping their QB out while praising Fields’ efforts.
“Honestly, it was really just on us not making plays. I felt like Justin played his tail off today. He put the ball out there. We’ve just got to do a better job of making plays for him,” he said when asked about how things went after the Jets’ first opening drive TD since Week 16 of last season.
