KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A Kansas City man who burglarized a chain seafood restaurant and a bank over the summer is now facing charges.
Court documents filed in Jackson County charge 65-year-old Joseph Scrivo with a pair of felonies for a June 29, 2025, burglary of a Captain D’s restaurant.
Scrivo is alleged to have entered the chain restaurant at 6308 Troost Avenue to burglarize the property. A court document filed Nov. 10 by Jackson County Prosecutor Melesa Johnson alleges Scrivo damaged the restaurant’s drive-thru window.
The damage is alleged to have exceeded $750.
Scrivo is charged with one count of second-degree burglary and one count of first-degree property damage.
