Nagpur is gearing up for the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly’s Winter Session, with the Assembly Secretariat set to begin functioning in the city from November 28 . Assembly Secretary Dr. Vilas Athawale has directed all departments to complete the responsibilities assigned to them for the session and to fast-track all arrangements related to accommodation and office setups.

A review meeting on Friday at the Vidhan Bhavan assessed the preparedness for the session. The meeting was chaired by Assembly Secretary Dr. Vilas Athawale in the presence of Shivdarshan Satya. Divisional Commissioner Vijayalakshmi Bidari, District Collector Dr. Vipin Itankar, senior officials and heads of various departments were present.
