The Pennsylvania supermarket chain, Redner's Market , is expanding its presence into northern Delaware.
Redner's Market will move into a 52,000-square-foot space in the Kirkwood Plaza Shopping Center in Milltown, replacing Acme, which closed its Kirkwood Highway location last November .
An opening is expected for summer 2026, according to Redner's Director of Marketing and Communications Eric White.
The Wilmington location will be a "Fresh Market" division of the chain, offering a food hall and dining area compared to its warehouse locations that offer a traditional grocery shopping experience.
White said this location will offer a "completely different layout than our other Fresh Markets, with the focus of this store being the increased food options." USA TODAY Shopping: Shop sal
