LOGAN — A trap-shooting fundraiser on Saturday will raise money for the families of two fallen police officers and help cover medical expenses for a Box Elder County sheriff’s deputy who was injured in the same August incident.

The Cache County Deputy Association will host the event Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Cache Valley Shooting Range in Logan. Organizers say 100% of donations will benefit the families of Tremonton-Garland Police Officers Eric Estrada and Sgt. Lee Sorenson, as well as Box Elder County Sheriff's Deputy Mike Allred , who survived the shooting.

Participants who preregister and prepay through Venmo will receive a $15 discount, which organizers say helps them plan how much food to prepare. The advance entry fee is $30; the price increases to $45 on the day of the event. Pa
