A man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was allegedly hit by a car in Salford .

Officers attended Summerville Road at around 4.10am on Wednesday morning (November 12).

A 26-year-old woman was reportedly injured at the scene.

Officers arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder.

Taylor Smyth, of Summerville Road, Salford, will appear at Manchester Magistrates Court later today.
