Temperatures are expected to climb significantly, reaching highs about 15 degrees above normal today and Saturday. Tonight, we're looking at lows around 20 degrees above normal, only dipping into the mid to upper 50s.

However, a cold front is expected to approach from the northwest on Saturday. Ahead of it, we'll see winds picking up from the southwest, reaching 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

This front will sweep through during Saturday evening, bringing a few scattered showers. Behind this system, temperatures will begin to cool down by Sunday and into early next week.

A system moving across the Central Plains early next week will lift a warm front into our Ohio Valley region, bringing back chances for showers and even some thunderstorms on Monday night into early Tuesday.
