FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — The Prosecuting Attorney's Council of Georgia (PAC) has appointed a new prosecutor in the 2020 election interference case after Fani Willis' removal.

A lower court disqualified Willis over the appearance of impropriety stemming from the revelation of Willis' romantic relationship with the special prosecutor she hired for the case, Nathan Wade.

The Georgia Supreme Court affirmed the Fulton County District attorney's disqualification in September after they declined to review the ruling.
