After NDA's landslide win in Bihar, Assam Minister Ashok Singhal shared a photo of cauliflowers with the caption, "Bihar approves Gobi farming." The photo, many social media users believed, infamously refers to the "cauliflower burial case" or the Logain massacre, a brutal incident that occurred during the 1989 Bhagalpur communal riots in Bihar.

Over 100 Muslims were killed, their bodies buried in a field with cauliflower saplings planted over them to hide the evidence.

Since then, images of cauliflowers have often been used to evoke the Logain massacre.
