CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Sixteen people were without a home after a massive fire ravaged an apartment building in Charlotte on Thursday night.
The Nov. 13 blaze broke out shortly before 7:30 p.m. along at the Park at Ferentino apartment complex, not far off Monroe Road and Independence Boulevard.
Charlotte they got multiple 911 calls about the fire, and by the time they got to the apartments, smoke was seen coming from the building. Multiple units were sent to the complex, and shortly after they arrived, even more help was called in.
Firefighters helped some people get out of the building and rescued somebody’s pet.
