R Madhavan has been a cinematic heartthrob for many years now. However, unlike most actors in his league, he has played characters with six packs less frequently. In a deleted scene from Om Shanti Om, R Madhavan called himself “the Shah Rukh Khan of the South". Almost 10 years ago, while speaking to Radiant Wellness, Madhavan was asked why he didn’t have a six-pack like Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om.
Madhavan said, as quoted by SCREEN, “I’ve always been a very family man, so I prefer the family pack. Having said that, that’s just a cheeky answer. The truth of the matter is, getting a six-pack is definitely a beautiful thing, but only if you get it the right way."
