Last week’s break was much needed for South Carolina. Compared to Texas A&M, the scoreboard might not favor the Gamecocks, and even analysts lean toward the Aggies. Still, South Carolina has a slight edge. There were a few hits on the O-line, and head coach Shane Beamer didn’t hold back to confess.

While Wednesday’s injury report had just two, on Thursday, two more popped up on the report. Considering what Beamer said, “We had some things that flared up today.” Still, the presence of OLs Cason Henry and Jatavius Shivers on the injury report doesn’t pose much of a threat to the Gamecocks. Henry has been out since the Kentucky game with a season-ending injury, and Shivers is a reserve lineman who has appeared in 6 games this season.
