A year after registering a 100% strike rate in the 2024 Lok Sabha election, the NDA's Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), led by Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, has emerged as a key asset for the alliance. Out of the six seats the HAM contested, it seems poised to win five of them in Bihar's southwestern Magadh region. Known to have a strong backing of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes, the HAM played a crucial role in consolidating these votes for the NDA, especially in the reserved seats.
