A small detail has brought down one of South Australia’s most vile child sex offenders.

An eagle-eyed Interpol investigator spotted a uniquely Australian wristband in disturbing online images — a Legacy Australia band — that ultimately led police straight to Samuel Frost.

The AFP swooped on his O’Sullivan Beach home, uncovering a staggering haul: 37,000 images and 1,800 videos across 10 devices.

The material showed children under the age of 10 including toddlers and even babies who were subjected to horrific abuse.

The judge described the crimes as “representing the worst in humanity,” condemning Frost’s depravity as disgraceful in the extreme.

Over 12 months, Frost repeatedly abused an eight-year-old boy from Adelaide’s southern suburbs.
