It’s a great day when Nike slashes prices across its running sneakers and apparel. Building a running wardrobe that works for every season can get expensive, so when an early Black Friday sale drops with discounts up to 49% off, it feels like the perfect time to stock up.

I’ve worn Nike performance gear since my childhood track and field days and right through to marathon training in recent years, so I like to think I know the brand’s products well and can spot great value. The first thing that jumped out at me was the very popular Nike Pegasus 41, reduced from $140 to $105. That is excellent value for such a reliable, versatile running shoe.
