Officers attending an alleged armed robbery in Salford are yet to make an arrest or recover a weapon, the Manchester Evening News understands.

Armed police attended the Little Hulton District Centre, near Longshaw Drive, following reports of an armed robbery on Thursday evening (November 13).

Footage shared online showed a police helicopter above the area, while part of the precinct was cordoned off.

It's understood that officers responded to reports of a gun being used in the incident.
