A West End board overseeing a $30 million-plus nest egg has awarded nearly $8 million to local businesses and nonprofits in its first year of soliciting efforts to fund.
Those investments come as the West End Opportunity Partnership receives its first dollars from the tax increment financing, or TIF, district that helps support its operations.
