A resurfaced excerpt from Tom Bower’s 2022 book, Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors, reveals how King Charles III and Queen Camilla really felt about Meghan Markle.
Charles, 77, felt “bewilderment” toward Meghan, 44, when she and Prince Harry took a trip to the Castle of Mey in Scotland in 2018 with the rest of the royal family.
Charles “never really understood her or what she wanted,” Bower alleged in his book. Camilla, meanwhile, was always “apprehensive about Harry’s future,” the book claimed.
Bower noted that Camilla, 78, has “nothing in common” with Meghan and allegedly questioned the former Suits star’s “coquettish smiles and tactile performance.” Camilla allegedly didn’t think that Meghan would “sacrifice her independence to serve silently as a team-player.”
