Nagarjuna’s iconic cult classic Shiva is back in theatres after 36 long years and the moment has turned unexpectedly emotional for the veteran star. As the remastered 4K version of the Ram Gopal Varma-directed film hits the big screens today, Nagarjuna took to social media to share a touching message that instantly struck a chord with fans.

Calling Shiva more than just a movie, Nagarjuna, through a note on X, took fans back to the day it all started. He wrote, “Shiva was released on October 5th, 1989!!! Now 36 years and 40 days later, Shiva 4K feels untouched by time."
