An A-road in Devon is partially blocked by a crash this afternoon.

The collision happened on the A361 in Tiverton on the northbound carriageway.

Traffic is slow towards the A396 (Sampford Peverell turn-off) as a result and the incident, close to the motorway junction, is reportedly making it difficult to access the M5.

On the westbound carriageway, a vehicle has broken down near the crash, but traffic is coping well.

Traffic and monitoring site Inrix reported the incident at 3.13pm. It advised: "A361 Eastbound partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident after A396 ( Sampford Peverell turn-off). There is also a broken down vehicle on the opposite side."
