SRINAGAR : Jammu Kashmir has been recognised as one of the top achievers in the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) and Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP) 2024, with Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Vikramjit Singh receiving the award on behalf of the UT Government at Udyog Samagam 2025 in New Delhi. The award was presented by Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal.

The Union Government’s BRAP 2024 assessment evaluated States and Union Territories across 25 reform areas and 434 reform points, backed by one of the country’s largest feedback exercises involving over 5.8 lakh businesses and more than 1.3 lakh detailed interviews.
