North Carolina families will receive their full November SNAP benefits by Friday morning, following the federal government’s official reopening late Wednesday.
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services confirmed that roughly 600,000 households will see their complete benefit amounts loaded onto EBT cards after the USDA instructed states to resume full payments.
“I am grateful to NCDHHS for working around the clock to ensure North Carolinians get their full November benefits as quickly as possible,” said Governor Josh Stein in a press release. “People will be able to go to the grocery store this weekend to purchase the food they need to keep their loved ones healthy and strong.”
Some residents may receive their November funds earlier than usual, depending on their normal
