A couple who met on the US version of Married at First Sight have revealed they are expecting their first child.

Derrek and Meghann announced the pregnancy just weeks after they got married on the reality programme, which sees complete strangers wed moments after meeting each other at the altar for the first time. The duo are the first participants to fall pregnant during the social experiment , which is broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK.

The pair revealed their news in a recent episode, with Meghann confessing they felt "shocked, scared and happy all at once" upon discovering they were to become parents, reports OK!
