While staying at the hospital because of a liver transplant surgery, the Cleveland Browns legend gathered his strength to go online and post an update for his supporters. As the statement showed up in between a challenging time for the former quarterback, it turned out to be a mix of happy and sad emotions.

“Had a procedure this morning. Really still can’t stop the bleeding, but tryna stay positive and can’t thank you all for love and support.” He said in the video.
