BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Bryan Kohberger has been ordered to pay an additional $3,000 in restitution to two of the victims’ families.
Judge Hippler heard argument in court last week as to why Kohberger should not have to pay the additional funeral-related costs, saying he already has no ability to pay more than $300,000 in fines and fees from the criminal case that resulted in him pleading guilty to murdering Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves.
The order comes down on the third anniversary of the brutal attack that left the four University of Idaho students dead in their off-campus home.
